They are beautiful, buttery soft and super absorbent. I put them in “my” bathroom and gave my husband our other towels.

not the right look or color for me

I ordered the sand piped towels. They remind me of pottery barn kids hooded towels with the gingham or colored edging. I would not describe the piping color as sand - it is the exact color of silly putty - a yellowish tan. And there was a lot of seam/threading running across the piping throughout the towels that I would not expect to see in a high quality or priced towel. I did not use them so cannot attest to their absorbency or drying time.

Jennifer, we're so sorry you didn't love your towels! Our sand piping certainly has more gold, warm undertones than a brown-leaning sand color would. We'll take a careful look at your returned towels when they arrive back at our warehouse, as there should not have been a noticeable amount of threading or seams.
