We’re huge fans of Styled by M.G. –– tell us a little more about how you started and how it’s going!
I have had a love story with fashion and styling since I was a little girl. I used to put looks together as a little girl for all different events I would come up with. My friends and family have always looked to me for help and advice on putting together outfits for events, cleaning out their closets, and adding new and unique pieces to add to their collections. Styling has always been something I wanted to explore as a career and starting Styled by M.G. has been a dream come true and I cannot wait to continue to journey.
Styled by M.G. is going great and continues to grow! I have loved meeting new clients and helping with their wardrobe journey no matter what service they have booked with me. This year has been really amazing so far because people are starting to get dressed again and events are happening which has been so fun for me. My clients are always on the move so helping them feel their best and have the perfect looks to fit their lifestyle has been a huge joy for me this year.
That’s amazing! What’s your favorite part of being a stylist?
My favorite part of being a stylist is by far my clients. Working with women who have completely different needs and lifestyles and being able to redefine and style their wardrobes to feel confident getting dressed is so fulfilling.

Let’s talk about all things bridal! What was your wedding day like and what’s some advice (style or just general) you can give to all of our engaged hype girls? Any must have items for the big day?
My wedding day was a dream! I was with everyone I love and got to marry my best friend so in my eyes, it was perfect.
My biggest piece of advice for future brides is to try and enjoy the moments and not be stressed about the little things. Planning a wedding is a stressful season but it is also one of the biggest events you will ever have so enjoying it and soaking it all in would be the best advice I can give.
For your big day, my top must-haves are a robe for lounging in while you get ready with your girls, comfortable shoes to dance the night away in and a glass of champagne before the ceremony to toast the day and kick off the magic!

You look at clothes and accessories all day long, what made the Weezie robe stand out to you as a gift for fellow bridesmaids?

My favorite ways to #enjoythestay in everyday life is having coffee with my husband in the mornings (in my comfy robe!), wine night with my friends and spending a little time outside in the sun as often as I can!

One item you wish you would have added to your registry!
Light fixtures and art! I wish I had thought to add some of my favorite light fixtures because they aren’t crazy expensive and the first thing I did when moving into our house after getting married was change the lighting. Art is another thing I wish I would’ve thought about because I think there are so many amazing small artists out there that are beyond talented and a statement piece can change the entire feel of a room!
One style tip you wish every girl knew!
Less is always more! A refined wardrobe leads to refined and stylish looks. You don’t need to have multiple options of every trend, it clutters your wardrobe and makes styling yourself more difficult and no fun.
