What inspired you to start your textile and wallpaper line? I started it a dozen years ago after taking fabric design classes 3 dozen years ago.
What can you tell us about the inspiration behind the fan-favorite Beetlecat print? In August I go to the seashore in Massachusetts, which is where I usually design. Every Saturday there are beetlecat races out my window.
Favorite project of yours? My house in Millbrook.
After a long day of dreaming up fabulous designs, how do you unwind? Needlepoint, designing jewelry, designing clothes - I love anything creative!
Favorite colors for interiors? Pink
Favorite brands for home? The Lacquer Company
Favorite room to decorate? Living room
Favorite designer (who are you calling on to design your house, if not yourself?!) A little bit of about 10 designers living and dead.
