Introducing Lil Weezie: Our first ever baby and kids’ collection for enjoying the stay the lil way!
This moment feels like a birth, which makes sense because it was prompted by our own. When we launched Weezie in 2018, Liz was pregnant with her first daughter, Tempe. She was gifted eight (!!!) baby towels—but couldn’t find one that was justttt right. Liz wanted to wrap up Tempe in the same cozy quality as Weezie. Luxe for the littles became a fixation, and we started dreaming of a baby and kids’ line.
Two years of development, 150 hours of in-home testing with real customers, and three real Weezie babies later, and we have perfected the details across five products just for babies & children.
Development
We emailed our customers and asked what you all were looking for in a baby collection. You told us you wanted baby items that were soft, absorbent, and you gave us a laundry list of size issues to solve for (robe sleeves that could be rolled, a baby towel, and a kids towel, the list goes on). Once we thought we had the perfect items developed, we gathered a group for in-home testing. Over the course of 150 hours of in-home testing with real life Weezie hype girls, we tweaked the products to ensure they were just what we (and you!) were looking for.
