Tell us about your journey into design! How did you begin your career as a designer?
It all started when I was renovating my own house. I started creating paint and lighting schedules for the contractor without even knowing what a schedule was- all the contractors asked if was a designer and it got my wheels spinning… I didn’t even know custom furniture existed until a friend showed me a catalog. I studied it all weekend, ordered 13 pieces, drove down to NC to pick it up myself and I became obsessed. Helping out one friend led to another and the rest is history!
Your (designer) style icon: I fall in love with someone new every day… but Dorothy Draper has consistently been my favorite!
