Tell us about your journey to interior design.
After earning a BA in History from the College of Charleston, I moved back to my hometown of Atlanta and decided to pursue an interior design degree at Georgia State University. While I was there I worked as an intern for Carter Kay Interiors and ended up staying there after graduating for over 5 years. I then left to start my own firm. It’s crazy that it has been 24 years!
Your style in a few words:
Classic, Fresh, Detailed
Your forever inspo:
Antiques, document fabrics (especially newly recolored ones!), mixing old and new, bringing the outside inside…love to use blues, greens, and browns!
Can you give us a glimpse into the process of bringing this beautiful space together?
I was fortunate enough to be the interior designer of this wonderful home, owned by a best childhood friend of mine. It was a joy to collaborate with her on this project! I started with this fabulous wallpaper. It has all of the best blues that she loves and it simply needed white Thassos marble to complement it. It turned into quite the retreat!
The design brief:
Wallcovering: Waterhouse Wallcoverings, Growing Nasturtiums (Blues on White)
Trim color: Benjamin Moore, White Dove

That bathtub!: Waterworks Empire Tub
Fixtures: Rohl Country Bath Tub Set
Garden stool: Webb-Marstellar
