This summer we've taken Weezie on the Road! First up was Newport Beach with Allison Rolfes and a pop-up at Minnow in Lido Village! Next, Birmingham and most recently Chicago with designer Alex Kaehler!
We kicked off the weekend with a FAB dinner to celebrate the launch of our new Kitchen Towels, co-hosted with Alex Kaehler at her beautiful home. The dinner was served al fresco and brimmed with good stories, laughter, and some fresh new kitchen towels for each guest.
After dinner, we chatted with Alex to get her best recs for a weekend spent in Chicago.
Where to Eat:
Mino’s is a favorite of mine. Their outdoor patio and delicious pasta is a perfect summer combination.
Where to Stay:
Deer Path Inn, it is the perfect spot. It was beautifully renovated recently, and has such great restaurants.
Where to Play:
I love going to the beaches here. Lake Michigan is such a special spot. We bring pizza picnics down to the beach at any opportunity and just let the kids run around and swim.
Where to Shop:
Athene and Bunny & Babe are my favorite local boutiques. Athene is beautifully curated and has such perfect everyday pieces. Bunny & Babe is the perfect spot for bright colorful dresses.
