We recently *officially* added patterned robes to our permanent collection, and we have been absolutely blown away by the feedback we’ve gotten from our customers and fans. Our friends at House Beautiful helped us celebrate with this post about our launch.

If you’ve been following along with our story, you know that we’re obsessed with customer feedback. House Beautiful asked about how we’ve used that information to make robes that solve for your pain points:

Co-founders Liz Eichholz and Lindsey Johnson based the design for their robes on lots of crowdsourcing, asking friends, family, and customers what they did (and didn’t) like about standard bathrobes. As a result, Weezie’s long robe features sleeves that can be buttoned up and out of the way so you don’t get them wet every time you wash your face, while the short version has no collar and short sleeves to keep you cool so you don’t melt the minute you turn on the blow-dryer. Both also come with attached waist ties (no more losing them in the laundry!) and handy pockets.

Along those lines, when we launched our first, limited-edition patterned robe with India Armory back in 2019, it sold out in under 24 hours! We knew that type of product was something that our customers really loved, so ever since that collaboration, we’ve been working hard to bring back more printed robe options.

We always try to put ourselves in our customers’ shoes and ask ourselves, what would you want in a robe? Now that so many of us are social distancing, it’s even more important that we’re making sure we’re making the best, coziest products for lounging around at home.

Here’s what Liz told House Beautiful

"With many Weezie customers in full social-distancing mode at home, Eichholz believes that every little bit of cozy counts. “Our brand hashtag #enjoythestay is all about celebrating moments of delight in the everyday, and now, more than ever, we’re finding this ringing true with our audience,” she says. “We’re all looking for unique ways to bring joy amid the chaos, and for us, these robes are just one small way to make unwinding at the end of the day [or, let’s face it, throughout the day as we work from home!] a bit more luxurious.”
