Tell us about your journey into content creation and design! How did you begin your career as a designer?
I’ve been in business for 25 years and our clients' projects are our content creation! My career started while I was finishing interior design school at the University of Mississippi

Your style in a few words:
Fresh take on traditional design with a southern, irreverent wink.

Your forever inspo:
My hometown of Natchez, Mississippi and Italy.

Can you give us a glimpse into the process of bringing this beautiful bathroom together? Bathroom 1 & 2 (same house)The family has two girls close in age.  We needed to make both of their baths equal but have their own identity.  We carried the wallpaper from the bedrooms into the baths to create a “suite” and add personality.

For the floral bathroom - It’s a large victorian house and we wanted the master bathroom (formerly a bedroom prior to renovation) to feel decorated so we chose the wallpaper that matched the drapery fabric from the bedroom. We weren’t sure the client wanted to invest in wallpaper at the time, but they went for it and it’s a beautiful space!

    Before you go…

What are you reading?  I need a new book but have enjoyed Daisy Jones and the Six, Lessons in Chemistry, The Marriage Portrait, The Terminal List and the rest of the James Reece series by Jack Carr and Greenlights by Matthew McConaughey.  I listen to books while I drive, draw floor plans, walk the dogs and do laundry.

Who are you following?  I follow architects like Bobby McAlpine, Stan Dixon, Brandon Ingram, Chris Tippett and Ruard Veltman to name a few.  I love the designs of Charlotte Lucas, Andrew Howard, Miles Redd, Mark Sikes and Jenkins Interiors11.  I also follow funny dog videos.

What’s next?  We are always trying to push the envelope with our clients and create an inspired space that lives great but stays fresh.

Recent interiors splurge:  Personally, I never do anything at my house, but I stepped it up and re-wallpapered my foyer, dining room and master bath.  Of course it led to a few more tweaks and I am really happy with the transformation.

    Recent interiors steal:
Scalloped trim on toe spaces.  Cerused kitchen cabinets.  Tone on tone marble entry floor.
