Where do you look to find inspo:
I feel like all designers say nature, but it truly is the ultimate source of inspiration for me. In addition to nature, my kids inspire me constantly. Children’s books, the artwork they create, ideas they have and things we do together. Discovering the world with them and seeing it through their eyes is so inspiring!

Can you give us a glimpse into the process of bringing these beautiful bathrooms together?
For this bathroom, it was all about keeping that pink tub. Everyone thought I was nuts butwhere can you get a pink tub these days?! I loved it and wanted it to be a feature - an homage to things passed. From there, it was all about working around that and making it feel fresh and relevant.

The Design Brief
Wallcovering: Sanderson UK
Tile: Daltile or something similar from Home Depot
Sink: DXV
Tub: Vintage
Flooring: custom - aka i did it myself lol
Fixtures: sconces are Visual Comfort, overhead light is from Chairish
Accessories: Weezie of course!!

For this bathroom, I wanted it to feel luxurious but honor the very distinct vibe of the Highlands-Cashiers plateau. I went for a more neutral palette because I wanted peacefulness. Budget and timeline drove the decision to do a skirted vanity instead of custom vanity.

The Design Brief:
Paint Color: Farrow and Ball White Tie
Tile: Home Depot
Sink: unsure of brand - it was just a white oval off the shelf

Fabric: Lee Jofa discontinued
Fixtures: all lights are Visual Comfort
Accessories: vintage and WEEZIE!

Before you go…

Favorite Weezie item?

I live in my Weezie robe, but the latest round of goodies from Halsted might be my all time favorites. The blankets are amazing and those hand towels with the patterned applique - I die!!

What are you reading?

Mostly a lot of BOB Books haha! My 5-year-old is learning to read.

Who are you following?

I’m a real estate junkie, so I follow a lot of old house accounts- both stateside and abroad. I also follow all the funny accounts - I live for my daily dose of laughter!

What’s next?

Woof. Who knows! Hopefully product design and maybe a side business where I rehab houses. We’ll see!

Recent interiors splurge:

I’ve been collecting a matching set of outdoor furniture. Whew, those boogers are expensive.

Recent interiors steal:

Locally, we have an amazing antique store called The Rock House. Every few months, they do a parking lot sale. The most recent one was just this past weekend, and we snagged this beautiful old red bench I cannot wait to place. It’s about 7’ long, and we got it for $150!

Recent Instagram saves: (Add screenshot of saved images? Favorite follows?)
I recently saved this image of Deborah Cavendish, the Dowager Duchess of Devonshire. She is wearing jewels from the 7 piece Devonshire Parure and standing in front of a portrait of her by Lucian Freud. The look on her face and the whole vibe is sort of chilling. Haven't stopped thinking about it since I saw it. The account that shared it is @periodportraits, and I love following them.
