Lessons from the moms of Team Weezie
Our greatest life advice? We got it from our mamas. In the spirit of Mother’s Day, we’re honoring their wisdom the best way we know how—by sharing it!
Liz’s Mom: Tempe
Something she's taught me is that family is the most important thing in the world. She puts our family first in every situation and just moved from Austin, TX, to Savannah, GA, to be closer to us! She also taught me to appreciate nice towels from an early age ;) I became acutely aware that there were towels I was "allowed to use" when I came home from college to visit. So when I went to register for towels, she was the first person I called and she had a long list of opinions with no clear favorite—and the seed for Weezie was planted! She's been cheering me on every step of the way.
Mary Shaffer’s Mom: Mary Lee
She sets the standard for hard work and relentless determination. Good things come to those who work hard! She loves selflessly: always, always putting others before herself without any expectations. I’m so lucky to have her as my mom!
Erika’s Mom: Maureen
My mom #enjoysthestay every night in her bubble bath. (Though it's of note, she enjoys the stay the most when all of her kids are under one roof and she can put her phone in the drawer—worry-free!) One thing she taught me? Brownies for breakfast are always a good idea.
Becca’s Mom: Alison
My mom loves to #enjoythestay with a nice hot bath, a warm cozy robe, and a glass of wine.
Bailey’s Mom: Robyn
My mom has taught me what it looks like to be brave. Through the hardships and challenges she's faced, she has remained steady and true. She is authentically herself, and that's something I admire and take encouragement from everyday! I'm so lucky to have her!
Morrigan’s Mom: Cathy
My mom likes to #enjoythestay by spending time in nature floating down the river or in her garden.
